Greetings from my native Northern Ireland!
I’m Raymond, one of the last of the 1960 vintage. I’ve always had an adventurous spirit and have travelled to 45 countries across four continents — and I’m still counting.
I’m involved with the South African lifeboats, enjoy scuba diving, and have a lifelong passion for motorcycles. I’m an avid road rider and also take part in dirt biking whenever the opportunity arises.
After a career in construction that took me to several African countries, I retired to Cape Town. Here, I was fortunate enough to become involved with sidecars and have been a regular rider since 2020.
It is a real pleasure to operate these wonderful old machines along Cape Town’s beautiful coastal roads, while meeting visitors and sharing the beauty of our country with them.
