Rhodesian born, growing up on farm I was always riding something, my pony or an old BSA Bantam.
Several years spent in various military roles also gave me an opportunity to fly aircraft.
Conservation work has always been my passion so game surveys, game capture and aerial crop spraying suited me well.
Working and caring for old mechanical things, my ’57 Land Rover, ’78, ’79 motorbikes (and myself) keeps me going.
Riding for Cape Sidecar Adventures and coaxing the sidecar ‘ladies’ along the spectacular scenic routes, showcasing the beauty of the Cape is very satisfying.
Doing it all with a great team of riders, admin staff and dedicated workshop enthusiasts makes it even more fun.
